相容れない人間との関係性

歌詞は、決定的に話が通じず、相争うだけになってしまった過去の友人、または恋人との関係性を綴っているように思える。そして語り手は、その相手にひどく傷つけられたのか、心が空っぽになったかのように語る。

精神のあり様を表現するかのようなサウンド

コーラスにおける嵐のようなサウンドが、我を忘れるかのような精神状態を表しているように感じられ、そのエレクトロ・サウンドの全てが、精神の機微を表現するべく構成されているかのように聴こえる。

陰鬱で暴力的だが意味深な映像

ミュージックビデオは、暗い雰囲気の豪奢な館が舞台。後半では、黒ずくめの一団が館に現れ、館の者たちを奪い、殺す様子が描かれる。そしてラストでは、殺された者たちの傍らに倒れたティーポットが、煙のようなものを吐き、煙が咲き誇る花へと変化していく様子が描写される。

ビデオの解釈として、奪い殺される様子が歌詞の意味とリンクしているように思われるが、ラストの花へと変化する煙の意味は不明である。
